Majorcan Hotels For Happy Holidays | Europe & Beyond

Majorca is a great holiday destination for people of all ages. Whether you want an active break or a relaxing, lazy holiday, it has something for everyone. For instance,? The Palma Aquarium in Playa de Palma has a beautiful aquarium with a huge range of sea creatures, and the best part?. it?s free to get in! Another great place? is Marineland in Calvia which holds a dolphin and sea lion show. If history is your thing, then a visit to the Cathedral and the Bellver Castle in Palma de Mallorca will be enjoyable. But if you just fancy going for a stroll, then visit the Old Port in Soller and check out the beautiful boats, moored in their stunning surroundings. Majorca also has some excellent hotels to stay in, and these are my top favourites.

Valldemossa Hotel

This hotel looks out directly over Palma Bay and has some of the most beautiful views in Majorca. All rooms are decorated with? antique pieces of furniture and artwork? from famous Majorcan artists. There is also a sauna, spa and wellness centre as well as a wide range of beauty treatments.? The hotel has two outdoor and and two indoor swimming pools ? I particularly enjoyed the outdoor pools in the evening.

Puro Hotel

This luxurious and stylish hotel is set in an 18th century palace in the La Lonja district of Palma. The stunning rooms all feature a large? plasma TV and free wireless to all customers. They are all equipped with air conditions and a spacious on suite bathroom and there are 3 different places to eat to choose from. There is a tanning suite equipped with sunbeds, along with a massage area and two outdoor swimming pools. I found it to be modern, bright and beautifully equipped for a boutique break.

Blau Porto Petro Beach Resort and Spa

This stunning resort is situated on the south coast of Majorca in the resort of Portopetro.? The hotel offers three outdoor pools and one indoor swimming pool, along with indoor and outdoor games facilities.Theres also a sauna, fitness center, spa and wellness center, and beauty treatment lounge. You can also book yourself into one of the external activities on offer such as diving or snorkelling.? I found this to be a great all round resort with lots going on to suit many tastes.

Palacio Ca Sa Galesa Hotel

This hotel is situated in the centre of Palma and is set in a building dating back to 1576. The hotel offers a range of activities including a sauna, gym, solarium, spa & wellness center, massage,? jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool, library, hiking, and bike rental ? phew! The hotel is situated a stones throw away from the sea and there a good local park and gardens nearby. The hotel has a good sized garden and a terrace area for guests to enjoy. All rooms provide satellite TV, air conditioning and even a massage bath, for easing out those aching legs after a long walk.

Illa D?Or Hotel, Puerto Pollensa

Puerto Pollensa Hotels are found all over the Island but the Illa D?or is really special. It has sea views and beautiful terraces and a fantastic arrange of facilities. There?s a luxury health and beauty centre for those who wish to pamper themselves ? the specialist treatments are superb! The hotel also has one gourmet restaurant and a well stocked bar ? perfect for cocktail hour.? It offers free wireless internet to all guests ? and with it being located on the first line of the beach, you can enjoy the shoreline from the pool ? white sands and rippling waves breaking on the beach ? perfect for that relaxing break.
